Lead - Commercial & Analytics

Support new business opportunity qualification decisions through extensive market analysis with the objective of supporting the sustainable growth of Apraava Energy Greenfield portfolio

• Keep abreast of micro and macro-economic developments in the Renewable Energy, Transmission and Energy Transition space; Determine their impact on Apraava Energy and communicate the same to the team.
• Analyze and interpret market scenario and customer research data to help quantify potential investment decisions in the RE, Transmission and Energy Transition sector.
• Conduct industry and competitor analysis at national, regional and micro market level to support team in devising sales and expansion strategies.
• Study industry trends and buyers’ preferences to ensure sufficient information is readily available as inputs for business and strategic decisions.
• Perform any analysis as required to support specific projects with cross-functional teams as specified by the management
• Develop preliminary financial models to facilitate evaluation of any new investment opportunity in the RE space
• Develop the financial model (first iteration) for evaluation of any new business opportunity with detailed commercial assessments (such as expenditure analysis, portfolio assessment, value assessment, etc.).
• Collaborate with Investment Analysis team to gather inputs and support for further refining the financial model.
• Conduct detailed financial analysis and optimisation to generate insights on ROI for the identified business opportunity.
• Compare ROI of business opportunity with ROIs of similar existing RE, Transmission & Energy Transition projects to gain a perspective on the relative gains / losses on the opportunity.
• Maintain an effective repository of all documents for future reference and to facilitate internal / external audits.

Education Qualifications and Experience:-

• Minimum Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in commerce / Finance / B.E. / B/Tech
• Relevant and Total yrs of Experience
• 5+ years of experience in financial modelling for renewable energy, transmission and energy transition projects.

Functional Skills:-

• Broad understanding of RE, Transmission & Energy Transition sector value chain.
