Responsibilities:-
- Defining specifications for the Analog Mix Signal IPs based on product requirements.
- End to end ownership of IPs. Design and Verify IP performance requirements using appropriate behavioral modeling, simulation, and verification tools.
- Document designs and present reviews to peers.
- Guide Product teams on IP integration at SoC level
- Perform or Guide Lab characterization/ validation, yield improvement and optimization.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to the team
Candidate Profile (hiring manager input):-
- Master’s/Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Electronics engineering from a reputable, tier 1 university with an emphasis in VLSI/IC design
- 4+ years of Extensive Experience in Design and Development of Mixed Signal IPs either in Data Convertors (ADC/DAC), Timing References (DLL, PLL and Crystal/Free-running Oscillators), Bandgap Reference, and/or Power Management IPs (Inductive/Capacitive DC-DC, High/Low Power LDOs and Supply Monitors)
- Extensive Experience in at least one area, e.g. High Speed SAR, Sigma Delta ADC, DACs, DC-DC convertors and PLLs is a plus.
- Strong in Analog building blocks, e.g. References, Op-Ams, active filter, other linear circuit design.
- Ability to translate requirements into designs is a must.
- System level design/modeling of complex IP e.g. data-convertors, PLLs, DC-DC regulators (using MATLAB/Verilog) is a plus.
- Ability to work with a creative and innovative mind set both individually as well as in a team.
- Able to build a network with professionals extending beyond IC design (DfX, Technology, Research, etc)
- Ability to lead a small design team and making technical judgments is a plus.
- Having significant Technical Publications, patents is a big plus.
