Job Description

You will be working as Industrial Automation Engineer and will be part of Electrification business area for Smart Power division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to Production Engineering Manager and will be responsible for optimizing the production organization’s assembly methods, processes and equipment to minimize labor hours in accordance with business strategies related to quality, efficiency, costs and safety.

Responsibilities:-

  • Project planning and managing within the field of industry 4.0 concept implementation into factory process
  • Identifying key technical in manufacturing direct and indirect process, developing standardized automated or optimized solution
  • Planning and facilitating assembly process, layouts and for conducting and qualifying assembly lines
  • Working with team to re-design the architecture of future smart factory on material or information follows and operational process
  • Evaluating new process technologies to improve productivity, quality and cost reduction, defining and leading testing activities, approval criteria and external provider choices
  • Managing relationships with stakeholders in their own area of responsibility and ensures alignment

Qualification And Experience:-

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in relevant field
  • Proficient in Operational Excellence such as Kaizens, 5S, Value stream mapping, Theory of Constraints, Visual Display & Root cause analysis
  • Should have knowledge of SCADA or HMI and NI-LabVIEW
  • Proficiency in CAD package like Pro-engineer or AutoCAD
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
