India Operations Leader

This role handles the daily operations of plants to ensure reliability and consistency on the production line. Participates in discussions about the future of the business requiring frequent and thorough interaction with other functions. Develops the yearly plan for the own function based on the framework of the strategic plan for the whole unit. Covers the financials of the operation and cost reduction initiatives. Manage plant workfare and oversees manpower planning.

As a India Operations Leader you will be responsible for:-

• Manage an operation and production facility in order to reach defined targets in quality, cost, delivery and safety. Ensure continuous business improvement according to benchmarks and standards. Team management of employees.
• Control of production plans and mitigation strategies.
• Conduct frequent interactions on manager level with Engineering, maintenance, planning and enabling functions about technical and organizational alignment.
• Handles complex manufacturing processes. Manufacturing department has to define approaches. Variety due to customization to client needs.
• Control of operations Inventory matrix, materials management, and stock handling.
• Supports in suppliers’ relations and partnerships.
• Present the business unit for HQ reviews and updates.

Qualification And Experience:-

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college. Minimum of 5 additional years of experience in Operation Management, Manufacturing & Supply Chain.
• Preferred APICS, CIPS, CPIM certificates.
