- Support procurement for Vendor development for retail engineering Supply Items.
- Developing,reviewing,renewing specifications for Retail engineering supply items.
- Developing SOPs, Policies & Guidelines related to Retail Engineering Activities.
- Helping procurement for negotiations,rate builtup.
- Cost Optimisation
- New Ideas & implementation.
- Standardising Materials, machineries and Equipments
- Coordinating with vendors,zones and ensuring timely dispatches.
- Ensuring proactive action for filed requirements for RO development,ammendments, maintenance etc.
- Coordination with Statutory Authorities, OMC.
ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:-
Vendor management:-
- Helping in sourcing New Vendors for different equipments required at ROs- DUs, Tanks, Canopy, Gen Sets, Solar PVs, Air Compressor, Lighting fixtures, Totems & other branding elements.
- Assisting Zones/Divisions in finalising Local vendors
- Reviewing vender performance and taking corrective actions.
- Monitoring and publishing MISs on supply items.
- Conducting meetings with vendors and resolving issues
Specifications, tendering, Negotiations:-
- Finalising specification of various supply items ,reviewing time to time and constantly improving on the same based on business requirements as well as statutory requirements.
- Helping procurement in tendering and negotiating for the most competitive rate and finalise Annual Rate Contracts & Annual Maintenance contract rates for different equipment.
- Coordinating with procurement for proactive planning and contract renewals.
Cost Effectiveness:-
- Reducing the construction cost of the RO by introducing new cost effective methods, materials & optimising the design to increase the viability & profitability of the RO.
Policies’, Guidelines and Training:-
- Making Policies/guidelines on Eng, front considering the changes/revisions in the industry - locally & globally.
- Simplifying the process for smoother & easy & effective implementation in the field
- Quality Control systems & procedure for equipments & facilities.
- Training & Appraising the field force and keeping them tuned with current/changing scenario on Engg. & RO operation.
Coordination with Vendors & BD team:-
- Regular coordination with Vendors and our Business Development team for effective, smooth running of activities with target for commissioning in view. Counsel laggards & if required take stern actions.
Coordination with CCOE and other Govt. Statutory bodies, OMCs:-
- PESO - Explosive department approvals for tank designs, Electrical equipment, Safety equipment’s & RO layouts.
- PNGRB – inputs for developing OISD standards
New Ideas & Implementation:-
- Studying, analysing different materials systems & technologies and adopt best suited, economically viable method/proposals for EOL Retail Network environment and implementation
- Developing new design & standards by liasoning with Consultants & Architects
Standardisation and misc:-
- Standardisation of facilities, Equipment’s and branding at ROs to have similar look & feel in the network across.
- Any other activities as assigned by the company time to time in the interest of the business.
