Job Description

Primary Responsibilities:-

  •  To ensure relationships with Head Office/Regional Offices and account management of Major Shipping Lines.
  • To ensure close coordination and information distribution regarding our portfolio of terminals to the network / trade /
    procurement / operations teams of major shipping lines.
  • Identify new investment opportunities and capital expansion projects at existing Brown field sites and Greenfield         projects and provide leads to strategic planning team for potential M&A opportunities
  • To manage existing JV relationship and issues arising on performance and growth.
  • To drive technology initiatives and work closely with analytics team for CT business.
  • To work closely with Site CEO’s to ensure operational excellence and customer satisfaction
  • To determine tariffs and pricing for new and existing terminals.
  • Set annual targets for market share, cargo volumes and revenues and achieve the same for major shipping lines.
  • Formulate long and medium term marketing strategy – customer segmentation, Demand forecasting and annual      marketing plan formation to develop the company’s presence in market.

Secondary Responsibilities:-

  • Analyse business and marketing trend/ industry trends/ competitor position and accordingly formulate pricing strategy and business strategy along with internal stake holders to generate and achieve new business.
  • Undertake customer negotiation and ensure contractual risk management.


  • Graduate / Post Graduate in Any discipline with Total Experience of 15+ years with at least 10 years of experience in Business Development Leadership position.
  • Leading with entrepreneurial approach and orientation, growing businesses by converting opportunities into success, creating sustainable value for stakeholders
