Fluence Recruitments Hardware Quality Assurance Engineer (Inverters) Job in Bangalore, India

The Hardware QA Engineer will perform as a member of an Inverter Center of Excellence with the mission to ensure smooth integration of power conversion systems and dc/dc converters into Fluence products and provide relevant expertise to internal stakeholders. The Hardware QA Engineer will be continuously overseeing quality assurance in a team applying Agile/Scrum development methodologies, with responsibility for compliance management, technical documentation, support of testing and process efficiency.

The Incumbent will:-

Work with external suppliers to make sure all necessary certification and test documents from suppliers are available and up-to-date.
Oversee correctness and completeness of technical documentation, manage and maintain internal documentation library and database.
Monitor updates in relevant technical standards.
Identify gaps in requirements validation and find ways to close them.
Make sure internal test procedures are consistent and sufficient.
Participate in definition of best engineering and test practices.
Participate in conducting validation tests on power converters.
Be responsible for monitoring relevant KPIs.
Participate in root cause analysis of possible failures in supplied equipment.

Qualification And Experience:-

The preferred candidate will have a background B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering, Quality Engineering, or related technical field.
3+ years of experience with design or testing of power electronic devices.
Familiarity with DC/AC or DC/DC converter operation and their applications in distributed energy ressources.
Experience in forming design/analysis of a system or new requirements.
Experience in developing test plans/procedures to assess adherence to requirements.
Experience capturing day to day activities in JIRA.
Experience using a document management tool such as sharepoint.
Proficiency in TestRail or some other similar test case management tool.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Able to work independently with little day to day guidance and achieve targets and goals..
