Grid Modelling Engineer

Responsibilities:-

🔹Grid Modeling & Simulation:-

• Develop and refinetransmission and distribution network modelsfor system performance analysis.

• Conductload flow, short-circuit, dynamic, and contingency analysesto assess grid stability.

🔹Optimization & Network Performance:-

• Identify and mitigategrid constraints and operational inefficienciesto enhance system reliability.

• Supportgrid modernization efforts, ensuring efficient integration ofrenewable energysources.

🔹Advanced Analytical Tools & Automation:-

• Utilize industry-standard software such asPSS®E, PowerFactory, PSCAD, or EMTPfor simulations.

• Developautomation scripts and algorithmsto improve modeling accuracy and efficiency.

🔹Technical Advisory & Stakeholder Collaboration:-

• Providedata-driven insightsto utilities, grid operators, and renewable energy developers.

• Support grid expansion and modernization projects throughtechnical recommendations.

🔹Innovation & Research:-

• Stay at the forefront ofemerging trends in power grids, HVDC, smart grids, and renewable integration.

• Contribute totechnical papers and industry best practicesin power system modeling.

Qualifications & Skills:-

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or a related field, with4+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong expertise inpower system analysis, grid modeling, and network simulations.
• Hands-on experience with tools such asPSS®E, PowerFactory, PSCAD, or similar simulation software.
• Deep understanding oftransmission and distribution networks, as well asrenewable energy integration.
• Excellentanalytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
