Job Description

The Future Offer Manager is responsible for helping to manage the growth and profitability of the Rack Power Distribution within the Rack and Edge Systems Business of Schneider Electric Secure Power Division. This position will work on cross functional teams to define and develop future offers, perform market research and market analysis to drive the future direction of the product line, perform ongoing competitive analysis, collect voice of customer (VOC), and effectively manage the life-cycle for released products. Commercial as well as technical experience with ability to work in cross-functional, process driven global organization is key for the success of this role. This position will report to the Offer Management Director for Rack Power Distribution.

Responsibilities:-

  • Manage the roadmap and portfolio of future offers
  • Supports Product Launch and Introduction support
  • Identify market trends, disruptions and opportunities that can impact offer performance and drive initiatives to capitalize on it
  • Engage in voice of customer projects to gather, understand, and organize customer and regional business needs.
  • Understand and capture customer needs to define new offer scope and specifications in alignment with market needs and company strategy
  • Interface regularly with Business Development Managers as well as Program, R&D, Quality, Services and industrialization teams to optimize solution definition, cost and time-to-market throughout the development cycle of the product, from early road mapping stages until launch activities
  • Develop Offer Specifications and ensure that they are aligned with market requirements and company strategy
  • Provide product specific strategic direction to the sales team globally through development and deployment of offer strategy plan/playbook
  • Own product positioning and value proposition decisions
  • Identify optimal price across all Go-To-Markets (GTMs) and geographies
  • Supports Product Launch and Introduction support
  • Interface directly with sales, and customers
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualification and Experience:-

  • Minimum 3-years of professional experience with a focus on sales, marketing, product management, business development or similar techno-commercial roles.
  • Bachelors Degree; MBA a plus
  • Experience in working with IT channel and med-large enterprise a plus.
  • Ability to work in a deadline-driven work environment, attention to detail, and ability to multitask/prioritize workload
  • International work experience and flexibility to work with global teams in various time zones, including domestic and international travel

Knowledge & skills:-

  • Knowledge of customer application needs and challenges in server room, data center, and industrial applications
  • Strong quantitative, analytical and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in dynamic international environment and manage through influence
  • Handles multiple and conflicting priorities and effectively prioritizes tasks in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Ability to analyse data, draw conclusion and work with multiple stake holder to drive the agenda
  • Comfortable and effective in making presentations in front of large groups of people and senior management
  • Must be able to learn and be comfortable in working in often process driven environment
  • Strong team player to demonstrate leadership and achieve results
  • Very strong verbal and written communication skills (English)
  • Independent Self-starter
