Development of innovative functions in the area of "Vehicle Motion Control (VMC)" as well as transfer of prototypically implemented functions into close-to-production software, taking volume production processes into account:
- Participation in cross-divisional pre-development system projects with a focus on vehicle dynamics
- Development of trajectory control functions under consideration of energy efficiency, comfort and safety
- Close networking and collaboration with internal departments (across locations) and external service providers
- System analysis, requirements management, concept and method development
- Reporting and presentation of project progress
- Support in development of new technologies, innovative concepts and functional principles for future products
- Testing and evaluating new technologies and functional principles and developing recommendations for action
- Definition and alignment of product functions and development goals
- Formulation of own invention disclosures and evaluation of third-party inventions
Your profile:-
- Completed degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering, robotics, computer science or a comparable technical degree with at least 3 years of professional experience
- In-depth knowledge of vehicle dynamics and control engineering (preferably AI methods)
- Routine handling of simulation programs such as Matlab / Simulink / Targetlink, CarMaker and programming languages such as Python, C / C ++ etc.
- Experience in brake control systems (ABS / ESC) and / or AD / ADAS functions, software, application helpful
- High level of abstraction and interest in creative work
- Independent, structured and assertiveness (good negotiating skills)
- Organizational talent, cross-system networked thinking
- Excellent team and communication skills
- Good English language skills, German is beneficial
