Job Description

The R&D Financial Analyst role will be responsible for providing financial and analytical support for the R&D activities of the Medical business. The R&D Financial Analyst will work closely with the Product Line Financial Controller and partner with the R&D Engineering and Project Management teams based in Ireland, India and the US. Supported by internal learning opportunities and with exposure to new markets, this role has plenty of scope for growth and progression as the business grows.

Key Responsibilities of the Position:-

  • •    Primary finance partner for New Product Development (NPD) and India Engineering groups, working closely with the Engineering partners to deliver activities within budget.
  • Monthly Cost Centre reporting actual versus forecast
  • Monthly Project reporting, actual versus forecast
  • Partner with the NPD team to prepare the quarterly forecast by cost centre
  • Partner with the PMO team to prepare the quarterly forecast by Project
  • Primary finance partner for capital expenditure requests and analysis
  • Develop and support the standardization of processes within the R&D portfolio
  • Analyse large volumes of data from multiple sources and translate into clear concise report outs to senior management
  • Drive continuous improvement through automation of reporting
  • Other Ad hoc requests as they arise

Skills & Experience:-

Required:-

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ yrs of overall experience in finance, business partnering, working on budgeting, project finance reporting and forecasting
  • SAP cost centre reporting
  • Ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Extensive MS Excel knowledge and demonstrated data analytics
  • Experience with other TE data sources preferred (TED, Hyperion)
