Extra High Voltage Engineer Substation Design Onshore Offshore

Job Description

COWI’s offshore wind energy business is rapidly growing and that is why we are looking for EHV Engineers to join our team. In this role your main responsibility will be:

  • EHV design and tendering of Onshore/Offshore AIS/GIS substations.
  • Implementing and specifying SVC/Compensators, Transformers, Reactors, Harmonic filters.
  • Independently developing layout design of Onshore and offshore substations with minimum input.
  • Earthing and lightning protection design.
  • Protection and Interlock logic for the substation control system.
  • Form part of tendering team, preparing proposals for Greenfield and brownfield projects.

Qualification And Experience:-

  • An electrical engineering bachelor’s degree
  • Expertise in engineering calculations, technical requirements, data sheets, and reporting.
  • Proficiency in creating MTOs, cable schedules, and single line diagrams, among other things.
  • Inter-departmental coordination and communication skills with colleagues in India and Europe.
  • Proficiency in creating and analysing datasheets for electrical equipment.
