Job Description

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:-

  • Lead Project Engineering quality function of RSC
  • Effective Deployment of Engineering quality roadmap for RSC
  • Define and effective implementation of  Engineering Quality Assurance & Control Plan for assigned projects
  • Collect REX and Work closely with Engineering team to ensure effective deployment of REX Implementation during Design Phase.
  • Validate Design Review planning and ensure effective Implemetation of the same and validate closure of Design review open points
  • Ensure Cross functional Team review of Engineering Deliverables during P-Phase and C-Phase
  • Work closely with Supplier quality team & Engineering team to ensure all Engineering deliverables to suppliers are reviewed in advance
  • Promote detailed RCA & improvement action plan definition for DFQ NOGO, Customer document rejections etc..
  • Monitor &  work with Engineering teams to improve Engineering quality KPIs & Engg referential
  • Promote Quality Culture through trainings & Quality awareness sessions
  • Ensure Quality assurance, Control & Improvement for Shared Engineering activities
  • Work closely with Manfacturing site Quality team for timely resolution of Engineering issues specific to Quality

Qualification And Experience:-

  • B.Tech/M.Tech in Engineering (Mechnaical/Electronics)
  • 15  years of experience in Engineering, Project management or equivalent
  • Thorough experience in Deployment of Six Sigma (Certified Black Belt from Reputed Organization)
  • Experience in leading team of more than 10 members
  • Previous experience in managing Quality tools, problem solving etc…
  • Very good team player with passion to deliver and good inter personal skills
  • Knowledge of railway industry (norms, certifications…) would be an asset
