Statkraft Recruitments Engineering Manager-Hydro Job in Delhi, India

In the role as an Engineering Manager-Hydro, we are seeking a competent, self-driven and committed individual to ensure that projects under development and construction receive the required support in areas of hydropower planning, design related issues and reporting to Statkraft standards. The Hydro Power Engineer will be an integral role in technical team during all phases of M&A, project development and delivery.

As Engineering Manager-Hydro you will be reporting to the Head of Hydro Engineering in India and the following tasks would be a part of your job profile :

Planning/review of projects.
Carrying out/review of the design of various hydropower project components like head works and powerhouse, sedimentation issues etc.
Preparation & review of PFR/DPR of Hydro/Pumped storage Project.
BOQ calculations of the project components.
Review the field investigations in various stages of project.
Computations/review of head loss in Water conductor system, Transient analysis, Geotech tools etc.
Review of costing of Hydro power project.
Manage and co-ordinate with various stakeholders in all projects being run by the Project Delivery Unit, mainly in India.
Liaison with central & state authorities for cost & other approvals.

Qualifications And Experience:-

B.E. / B. Tech Civil Engineering.
Master of Engineering will be preferrable.
Minimum 12 years of experience in planning, design of Hydro Power Projects and Pumped storage projects from concept (PFR/DPR) to commissioning including construction phase Project.
Should have experience in planning and optimization of the project components & detailed design.
Experience of site investigations in Hydro Project.
Experience of working on design tools like STAAD, Transient analysis, Geotech tools.
Experience from reputed MNCs engaged in projects & plant operational.
Experience on working in big projects.
Ability to work independently and capable of forming strong working relationships/partnerships with site leadership teams.
A thorough knowledge of applicable central & state regulations from PFR to detailed design as per CEA/CWC guidelines liaison with central and state authorities.
Flexibility in terms of travel and mobility.
Proactive, solution-oriented and attention to detail.
Team player and self-motivated to take responsibility for independent work.
Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
