- Design and develop embedded systems for automated product quality tester on assembly lines
- Handle installation and commissioning of integrated product tester/electronic systems including power management, wiring, PCB layouts, etc
- Work with domestic and global cross functional teams such as mechanical, software, product design, manufacturing, sourcing etc to provide expert support in Software & Hardware Integration
- Become single point of contact as Systems administrator for remote/virtual factory support.
- Provide maintenance & trouble shooting guidance to factory engineers on day-to-day basis to eliminate potential issues.
- Test new products at early stage on the automated production tester and establish quality limits for regular production. Conduct safety and performance testing of LED Luminaires.
- Review the tests hardware regularly, records changes made to hardware and identify upgrades required in advance
- Communicate work progress to technical/project leads and business unit
Required Education, Experience & Skills:-
- BE/B.Tech -Electronics or Mechatronics
- 5+ yrs experience
- PLC programming
- Instrumentation & component selection
- Experience in Analog and Digital Circuit Design
- Experience in Interfacing of ADC, DAC and Communication protocols-SPI, I2C, RS485, and RS232 etc.
- Knowledge of .net, MySQL, Minitab/MATLAB & Power BI dashboard management
Preferred Education, Experience & Skills:-
- Integration of electronic, mechanical, and optical subsystems
- Plan and conduct reliability review of the test systems
- Knowledge of smart lighting technology/protocols
- Knowledge of global compliance standards (UL/IEC/CSA/BIS) for factory automation equipment
