Job Description

If you are looking for an opportunity to grow in Proposals function, Emerson has this excellent role for you! The Proposal Engineer will be responsible for providing proposal support for Flow Products business (coriolis, vortex, electromagnetic flowmeters) across India.

Responsibilities:-

  • Perform technical review of customer’s enquiry and make note of key points
  • Get agreement with key customers on offering strategy
  • Work with our factories on customer’s special requirements
  • Identify clarifications / deviations / assumptions against customer specifications
  • Develop timely & error-free proposals
  • Assist in resolving technical queries from customers
  • Enhance usage tools such as Oracle GQF, CRM, Product Advisor, MyEmerson.
  • Perform technical check of customer’s Purchase Order
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of existing products, complete training to develop additional skills and new product knowledge.
  • Collaborate with key customers to understand business priorities and drive improvement opportunities.

Qualifications And Experience:-

  • Degree in Instrumentation Engineering with minimum 3 years of experience in related Proposals function.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical competence with written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

For This Role, You Will Need:-

  • Strong working knowledge of Flow measurement technologies.
  • Strong ability to get results and productive in a highly matrixed organization will be key point for considerations.
  • Flexibility to work long hours to meet deadlines.
