Engineer Project Associate - Lighting

• Managing overall product testing for Lighting products for Safety and Performance Testing, Certifications
• Project scoping , planning and execution of projects for Performance, Safety , UL testing.
• Testing for Lighting products like Lamps, Luminaires, Control Gear, etc as per various IS, IEC, UL Standards
• Report preparation, datasheet preparation
• Knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 Standard
• Handling/preparing accreditation documents activities for NABL, BIS etc.
• Must have experience in NABL , BIS accreditation audits / assessments
• Spearheading improvement activities resulting in increased operational efficiency of lab
• Conducting testing as per various safety standards like UL 153, UL 1598, IEC 60598, etc. at customer facility
• Interact with customers for technical discussions

Required Education and Qualifications:-

• BE/ B Tech in Electrical / Electronics Engineering or equivalent education from an accredited University / College.
• 3-5 years of experience in engineering / design validation / testing and certification / manufacturing etc in Lighting products.

Required skills and abilities:-

• Proficient in testing of Lighting, products for Safety, Performance.
• Knowledge of various national/international standards like IS 10322, IS 16102, IS 15885, IEC 60598 etc
• Knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 Standard.
• Ability to work in a fast paced, self-directed environment; document detailed results, and Communicate test results to reviewer and customer.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills as well as interpersonal skills necessary to work across multiple engineering disciplines, project management, and external customers.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Must be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong teamwork skills a must.
