Engineer - Production & Manufacturing APM Motors

This is a Engineer - Production & Manufacturing APM Motors role, reporting to Production Supervisor in motion division located in Bangalore. To Lead the production cell area and activity in terms of Safety, Quality , Product Delivery and Continual Improvements.

Responsibilities:-

• Responsible for allocating work and priority for daily plan executions as per production plan and dispatch priorities.
• Support and initiate improvement in production processes to meet Safety and Quality Standards.
• Take timely decisions on non-conformities, failures and implement CAPA.
• Hold team accountable for achieving the production numbers on consistent basis.
• Recommend process improvements for overall processes & quality system.
• Work towards eliminating production bottlenecks and improve capacity of the plant.
• Reduce overall TPT for manufacturing of products helping reduce overall product lead times.
• Capable to take charge of the production shift and co-ordinate well with Production Manager / Plant Manager appropriately..

Qualification And Experience:-

• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Production/Industrial Engineering with 3-5 years of relevant functional experience.
• Hands on with Rotor Balancing , Rotor Turing processes Measurement Techniques / Tooling & Jig qualifications/ Process Qualifications / PPAP.
• Familiar with Machined Process/ Components / Fabrication / Assembly Manufacturing Processes.
