Engineer – Market Analyst

• Collect up-to-date market information via multiple sources including 3rd party consulting publication and internal sales interview, and maintain a databases of market research and reports that will be shared across the business with internal stakeholders.
• Identify, monitor and interpret market trends including supply/demand, benchmark prices, import/export data and competitor’s development, and making this easily accessible and available on a timely basic.
• Collect, process, cleanse, transform and verify the integrity of data collected that allows analysis across multiple structured and unstructured datasets.
• Support managers in developments of reports and presentations.
• Work closely with and support ah-hoc requirements from various internal stakeholders while maintain connection with external research consultants and agencies.

Requirements:-

• Graduate with minimum degree in business administration, Statistics, Computer Science, Social Science, Information Management or related field.
• Min 0 – 2 Years Experience.
• Preferably 2 years of secondary research, data analysis and data modelling working experience in the automotive aftermarket sector will be an added advantage.
• Be someone with creativity to produce and communicate fresh ideas and concept.
• Be able to gather large amounts of data and convert it into meaningful analysis.
• Have a strong command of the English Language, both written and spoken, with ability to present clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Be able to simplify complex information into a user-friendly format.
• Be a team-player with a can-do attitude, and is both meticulous in work and efficient with time.
• Be adaptable, flexible and possess excellent problem-solving skills.
• A strong-minded person who can take criticism well and is motivated to improve and do better.
• Be able to work well under stress independently and deliver according to tight deadlines in a complex, ambiguous and multicultural environment.
• Be able to manage multiple projects at the same time, prioritizing required actions according to meet strict deadlines.
• Be able to demonstrate initiative, be outspoken and have a keen learning attitude.
