Responsibilities:-
In your role, your focus will be to carry out the following tasks in ANSYS
- Preparation of design models with good quality meshing and well-conceived boundary conditions
- Detailed FE calculations of the ultimate and fatigue capacity of structural components on the Oil & Gas and Wind farm substations
- Prepare reports leading to authority approval/certification of the structures
- Carry our quality assurance of design and calculations done by other engineers
- Take responsibility for definition and solution of own tasks
Qualifications And Experience:-
Candidates must have 1 to 5 years of professional experience in designing steel structures in ANSYS APDL, Workbench and LSDYNA. Furthermore, we expect you to have the following qualifications
- Master's in mechanical or civil engineering from reputed colleges/universities
- Must have 1 to 5 years of professional experience in designing steel structures and welds using ANSYS and have exposure to APDL scripting & ACT programming.
- Minimum 3 Projects / Tasks in Industry should be completed.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to perform complex assignments
- Strong solid mechanics background and mechanical aptitude
- Experience of programming, preferably Python, APDL
- Accustomed to working in an international environment and in accommodating to different cultures
- Strong communication skills with fluency in written and spoken English
- Exposure to Offshore Oil & Gas and Wind standards
