Job Description

Basic Job Functions:-

  • Work as part of a team to ensure all facilities & systems under MECH Department responsibility are installed, tested and commissioned within technical requirements. Facilities/ systems include operations, preventive and corrective maintenance of MECH and other related facilities/ systems.
  • Oversee main contractor and OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) performances, to ensure the project deliverables are met the project timeline.
  • Create SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) RFC (Response Flow Chart) and others necessary document for 24/7 Operational Round and Reading activities to ensure system parameters within technical specifications.
  • Establish and Manage Preventive/Corrective/Milestone Maintenance execution program for all Mechanical systems.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:-

  • Direct observe and supervise contractors’ performances, ensure T&C procedures are well executed before energizing.
  • Review and verify soft drawings, the technical reports of mechanical systems.
  • Provide resource support for facilities hooking up. Assist in monitoring all work being performed by outside contractors.
  • Working with production teams to conduct FAT/OAT for production tools.
  • Responsible for the completion of all maintenance service requests as assigned.
  • Maintain inventory controls for cost effective operations.
  • Schedule and complete the “Preventative Maintenance Program”.
  • Perform regular maintenance for Mechanical Dry system (include but not limited to Exhaust Fan, Compressor, Air Dryer, …)
  • Perform regular maintenance for Mechanical Wet system (include but not limited to Cooling Tower, Chilled Water system including Chiller and Pump, AHU, Domestic Water Pump, AC units)
  • Create and review PM job-plan/SOP/SOO for critical Mechanical Systems
  • Prepare and conduct required training for internal department and cross-department
  • Give onsite support and guidance for all team member
  • Follow strictly all RFC and coordinate with Operation for any planned activities on site
  • Take a lead to perform any corrective maintenance on any machine failure.
  • Participate in team to perform root-cause analysis and system reliability improvement.
  • Participate all required safety, tool and technical trainings assigned by HR.
  • Manage efficiently assigned PM budget for the department to meet expectation.
  • Support other technical and non-technical departments for company business
  • Maintain (control and monitor) the facility system is running 24/7 without ITP/ITS and lead OPS teams to recover system in the shortest time.
  • Ensure that all OPS technicians are fully trained and assessed in Plant Safety and Operational procedures.
  • Daily communication updates, weekly, monthly report on plant facility status such as performance trending.
  • Operation shift reports review and trending of load checking.
  • Log sheet review for any abnormality and system improvement.
  • Health assessment report of equipment, analysis and recommendation, required spares and consumables of each equipment or whole systems.
  • Incident of equipment investigate and ensure incident report to be sent out within 24 hours and root causes analysis.
  • Ensures all compliance, safety, operations and maintenance procedures, RFC, SOO are constantly reviewed, updated.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education& Experience:-

  • Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant technical and supervision in the related field.
  • Knowledgeable in industrial heavy-duty machine and mechanic repair

Required Skills:-

Behavioural:-

  • Excellent communication skills and courteous in providing customer service.
  • Fluent in English communication (4 skills)
  • Able to work independently and adapt to a rapidly changing goals and priorities
  • Able to multi-task and prioritize work
  • Good leadership skill to manage a medium size team

Technical:-

  • Proficient in computer skills – MS Office
  • Experience in Predictive Maintenance such as: Vibration Analysis, UDT, and TAB (Testing and Balancing)
  • Competent in Root cause analysis

Physical Requirements:-

  • Will sit and stand for long periods during the day.
  • Will walk, climb stairs and on equipment.
  • May reach above shoulder heights and below the waist
  • May stoop, kneel, bend, talk and hear.
  • May lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Required to use hands to lift, handle, carry or feel objects.
  • Ability to wear personal protective equipment is required (including but not limited to; steel toed shoes, gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, protective jacket or apron and arm guards)
  • May be required to wear a respirator at any given time and thus, the ability to wear a respirator is a condition of employment and continued employment.
