Engineer - Automation

• To provide automation and electrical engineering capabilities To assist in the preparation and   presentation of tenders and proposals, and delivery of projects.
• Upon securing a contract / order the engineer (depending upon the size and complexity of the project) may be required to operate independently or as part of a project team to design, supply, install, commission and document the project.

Role & Responsibilities:-

•  Software Development - PLC, SCADA, HMI
• Software FAT / SAT
• FDS Write Up
• Site Commissioning where necessary
• Remote Site Support
• Various Documentation Preparation

Tasks:-

• Software Logic Development in Automation Platform Siemens/Rockwell
• SCADA Screen Development in Siemens, Rockwell, Wonderware Intouch, System Platform
• FDS write up and update as per developed program for various process
• Test the design by means of a Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) with a GEA lead engineer
• Contributes in the field of development, standardization and innovation
• Follow internal and external developments within the discipline
• Prepare start-up document where HMI screens with default settings are presented

Qualification And Experience:-

• Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation & Controls or similar education background

Work Experience:-

• 1-5 year
• Experience on any particular Refrigeration / Dairy / Food / Beverages / Brewery Industry
• Experience in safety instructions/systems at refrigeration plants (utilities)
• Experience in the engineering framework TIA Portal and/or Rockwell Studio 5000
• Experience in the SCADA system Siemens WinCC, Aveva Wonderware and/or FactoryTalk SE
• Experience in design and knowledge of operation of industrial refrigeration and heat pumps
• Able to read P&ID diagrams
• Knowledge of requirements of notified bodies and directives
• Knowledge of industrial automation and mechatronics

Skills:-

• In-depth knowledge of Siemens TIA Portal & WinCC SCADA Programming
• Know how of various automation platform - e.g. Siemens, Rockwell, Aveva Wonderware etc.
• Know how of various programming languages on S88 standard e.g. SCL ladder, STL, FBD
• In-depth knowledge of HMI and SCADA - e.g. WinCC, FactoryTalk, InTouch, System Platform etc.
• Fault Finding / Troubleshooting Skill / P&ID Understanding
• Server Client Set-up, ESXI and System Architecture knowledge would be an added advantage
• In-Batch, RS Batch, Historian Knowledge would be an added advantage
• Basic knowledge on Electrical drawings reading and components identification
• Team Player
• Good Communication Skill
• Self Learning Capability

Languages known:-

• Must have English
• Good to have Regional Language
• Preferred Hindi, Dutch

Travel Requirements:-

• The Engineer would be based in India office
• Minimum travel requirement (Approx.40%), Involving Site Commissioning activities throughout India & abroad.

Overview:-

• Demonstrate problem solving capabilities.
