Job Duties:-
- Autonomy electronics components, sub-systems for reliability, durability, performance, safety and cost.
- Experience on developing Camera, Radar, Solid State Hard Drive (SSD), Advanced Sensors,…
- Support the development of requirements, technical designs, DFMEA and DVP&R.
- Develop new component working with suppliers based on the understanding of component knowledge
- Validate and release new component, or variants in partnership with System & Validation teams
- Prepare complete schedules for assigned projects. Support project execution.
- Apply systematic problem-solving skills to define issues, identify root causes, develop, qualify, and implement corrective actions in a timely manner.
- Analyze, condense and present test data/results.
- Maintain orderly project records. Know, document and communicate project status as required both verbally and in written form.
- Develop roadmaps and strategy plans around specific components
- Release engineering component prints in product life cycle management system.
Job Requirements:-
- Bachelor/Master’s degree (or equivalent) in an accredited Engineering, Computer Science, or Materials Science curriculum (Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics)
- Strong Analytical & Project Management skills
- Emphasis on initiative and self-starting tasks
- Strong communication, problem solving, and analytical skills
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Strong customer focus and ability to work effectively with a wide variety of people.
- Need to be self-motivated and team player.
- Must be willing to work with enough overlap with US-based process partners and product groups
Desired Skills:-
- NPI Project lead, program management, and facilitation skills
- Component/system/machine development experience
- Knowledge of Electrical Components (Switches, Sensors, Starters, Alternators, Lamps….)
- Understanding of Caterpillar supplier development process
- Familiarity CAT NPI / CPI process.
- Knowledge on RoHS, IEC, ISO, EMI/EMC.
