Job Description

He/She will play a central role in our organization managing a team of Electronics and Mechatronics engineers, ensuring the achievements of our business targets in terms of Quality, TTM, Innovation, profitability and at the same time contributing to the competence strategy set-up and deployment. Direct experience in product development is essential and background in Agile methodology is a strong plus.


Business Targets Enablement:-

  • Support the competency set-up strategy (in terms of size, geography & skills) and take the accountability for the deployment
  • Understand the competency needs and plan the resource allocation into Agile Teams accordingly ( including engagement of external partners)
  • Ensure the high quality of the job done and the TTM targets providing regularly coaching to people in his/her team.
  • Identify, alert and escalate risks when needed

Competency Management:-

  • Identify team skills evolutions based on company competency strategy and road map
  • Build and implement the competency plan and upskill the team (and anyone in an acting role)
  • Identify & foster opportunities for skill development (e.g., trainings, courses…)
  • Develop Customer centric mindset
  • Manage attrition risks

People & Career Development:-

  • Create an environment that allows the team to thrive
  • Advise and supports on career development also in collaboration with other team managers
  • Focus on continuous improvement and provide actionable feedback
  • Manage performance & evaluate skills mastery and recognizes people for their contribution
  • Drive Health and Safety measures deployment, manage individuals inline with Health and Safety policy

Technical skills:-

  • Relevant Bachelors / Master degree
  • Working experience with Electrical / Electronic / Energy management products or solutions (10+ years)
  • Passion and Experience in product life cycle management (Development, Adaptation, Maintenance, Obsolescence)
  • Passion and Experience in complex multi-domain product development (Hardware, Firmware, Testing, Certification, Safety-Quality reviews, project gates, etc)
  • Experienced with knowledge transfer process

Soft skills:-

  • Good communication skills already experienced with multi-site and multi-cultural teams
  • Strong ownership and self-motivation attitude.
  • Experience in Agile organization is a plus, Agile mindset is a must
  • Business acumen
  • Excellent oral & written communication in English
  • Team player able to work closely with leads, peer groups, architects and design teams
