Job Description

  • Prepare & Review Single Line Diagrams for AIS and GIS Substations from 33kV to 400kV levels
  • Prepare & Review Substation Layout and section drawings, equipment GA, Bill of Material.
  • Earthing and Lightning Protection System Design and Review
  • Lighting & Small Power system Design and Review
  • AC, DC & UPS system design and review
  • Cable sizing calculations and cable tray design
  • Fire Alarm System Design and Review
  • Can review vendor drawings, EPC drawings and provide engineering solutions
  • Have basic understanding of substation protection and control design
  • Preferred to have experience in substation Auxiliary system design
  • Monitor work progress against plan, report on progress and propose remedial measures as and when necessary. Perform other functions as may be assigned by Team Lead from time to time.
  • Preparation of non-compliance report, prepare check list, project completion report and attend meeting with clients.

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from a recognized university
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in engineering environment with utilities, EPC contractors or design consultants
  • Able to independently deliver project deliverables.
  • Should be familiar with international codes and industry codes and standards.
