Electrical Designer Level II

Specific Accountabilities:-

• Produce work packs and drawings.
• Estimation of quantities of respective drawing
• Routine equipment selection (not involving complex calculations).
• Ensure that the level of design work is appropriate for the complexity of the construction tasks.
• Ensure work done conforms to the applicable specifications, codes and standards.
• Liaison with other disciplines on technical issues and incorporate comments.
• Knowledge and compliance with drafting procedures and drawing systems and applications.
• Knowledge of document control drawing systems.
• Maintaining records of drawings and other documents as assigned by Lead Engineer
• Preparation of transmittals for IDC,ICC and AFC drawings
• 3-D modelling and extraction of drawings from model
• Preparation of as-built drawings
• Quality Assurance – Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance system relevant to CSG.
• Safety – Responsible for personal safety safe working practices for the CSG. Understand and follow OH&S procedures

Education:-

Required:-

• A recognised and relevant design qualification or equivalent.
