Electrical Design Engineer

• Basic design engineering/calculations and preparation of specifications, drawings, manuals, Control schemes, Load calculations, QAP, cost estimations, for all Electrical systems, automation & control systems
• System/equipment design/drawing review/approval, follow-up for clarifications, submissions,
• Familiar with the applicable standards and International codes
• Support for quality assurance, inspections, and factory acceptance tests
• Developing and maintaining department resources and technical knowledge to generate efficient and cost competitive solutions and timely deliverables
• Investigates new concepts for practicality, economy, and operating efficiency
• Coordination with the project management & site team

Qualifications And Experience:-

• Degree in Electrical or Electronics & telecommunication Engineering
• At least 5 years of experience in hydro power sector.
• Good knowledge/understanding on all the electrical packages/systems i.e. generator, control & protection system, SCADA, LV/MV/HV switchgears, earthing, power, AC & DC systems, cabling system & scheduling, Illumination, Communication & Surveillance system, substations etc.
• Exposure to QA and site installation/commissioning activities would be an advantage.
• Proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD.
