Director -Industry Verticals

Responsibilities:-

• Develop and execute the business strategy for assigned industry verticals to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
• Build industry-specific solutions to drive differentiation and margin, leveraging deep domain understanding and emerging technology trends. 

• Develop and deploy industry specific standards and reusable components to streamline processes, enhance scalability, and drive operational efficiency.

• Identify and prioritize market opportunities within each vertical and define the value proposition for target clients.
• Lead cross-functional teams to deliver tailored propositions that address customer pain points and deliver measurable outcomes.
• Monitor market trends, competitive intelligence, and customer insights to refine industry strategies.
• Drive innovation through continuous improvement and by introducing new business models or service offerings.
• Defining business/ work process & standards and implementation of the same across the organization
• Responsible for Record Retention Process for the assigned area of operation.
• Adhere and promote all Health, Safety and Environmental requirements.
• Adherence to Emerson Values.

Dimension & Scope:-

• Project delivery for SYSS projects
• Develop & deliver Project Sales Plan
• Internal Customers: WA Operations leader, WA Finance leader, EEEC VP and Management team, Local HR & Finance, Technology, Supply Chain, BU leaders
• External Customers: Sub-Contractors, EPC’s, End Customers, ISO and other auditors, local suppliers

Qualification and Experience:-

• Overall experience of 20+ years with minimum 05 years in leadership positions leading multiple projects & multiple customers, business from countries.
• Proven ability to conceptualize and operationalize industry-specific solutions that drive business differentiation and margin improvement.
• Strong business acumen and understanding of P&L ownership.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
• Consistent track record of implementing sustained improvement within a project organization through continuous improvement methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:-

• Degree in Engineering with specialization in Instrumentation, Electronics, Chemical or any related or equivalent field.
• Must have outstanding ability to work with people at all levels and must be a team player.
• Proficient English language skills (verbal and written) – local language skills a strong asset.
