Job Description

The Director – ERP Global Delivery is accountable for project management, planning, and execution to deliver a project portfolio consisting of parallel tracks of execution to enable the consolidation of two Tier 2 Renewables businesses (OnShore Wind and Offshore Wind) into a single strategic Oracle EBS R12 ERP platform. Upon completion of the ERP roadmap, this strategic Oracle ERP platform will host approximately 60% of overall GE Renewable revenue and it will support more than 900 business process for more than 15,000 users globally for the OnShore, Offshore, and Multi-Modals businesses, with scope encompassing Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Services and Project Execution processes.
The Director – ERP Global Delivery will lead a team of process experts and project managers and partner with teams of technical product experts to deliver robust and scalable solutions and drive improvements in deployment execution through adoption of Agile.

Essential Responsibilities:-

The Director – ERP Global Delivery is responsible to:-

  • Lead a team of deployment leaders and functional experts to rollout execute on simultaneous projects and initiatives, leveraging established blueprint capabilities, enabling strong collaboration with business teams, and minimizing deviations from globally adopted business processed and ERP solutions.
  • Improve processes for repeatable deployments of the ERP blueprint to sustain business operations and support the global expansion of a $10B business, in support of manufacturing, sourcing, service and finance capabilities.  Activities include:
  • Drive strong business engagement to adopt the ERP blueprint
  • Drive the adoption of Lean, Problem Solving, and Agile to improve the speed and quality of our deployments
  • Project execution with strong local and business oversight to ensure successful business and ERP rollouts
  • Drive data readiness (Mater Data and Transactional) when required by deployments
  • Lead hypercare support and drive strong process adoption with each deployment
  • Partner with business and other Digital teams on deployment of transformational initiatives
  • Plan and lead the execution of a global deployment plan to consolidate 27 country operations into the Renewables Oracle ERP strategic platforms while minimizing business disruptions and ensuring successful adoption and transition from hypercare to regular operation. Enable a well-developed support and transition plan from existing platforms to minimize business and technical risks as transition is completed.
  • Collaborate with the PMO, Product Design and Development teams to plan the resource and financial plan to deploy capabilities as the fastest speed and the lowest cost possible.
  • Lead multiple deployment teams to manage all aspects of application delivery across multiple functions, business units and regions. Effectively initiate, plan, schedule, control, and bring to closure multiple high priority projects. Foster a product-driven mindset within Digital Technology and the business with a strong culture of first-time quality, high say/do ratio, cost-effective execution.

Required Qualifications:-

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or equivalent OR BS Degree in ‘STEM’ field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math), Information Systems, Information Technology (IT), Computer Science or Computer Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years of experience leading complex, diverse projects functional transformation projects or being integral part of ERP implementations, ideally on leadership/management roles
  • Minimum 15 years of IT professional experience along with experience across product lines, cross-functional initiatives
  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing & inspiring teams

Eligibility Requirements:-

  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job.
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 20% of the time

Desired Characteristics:-

  • Demonstrated experience designing, deploying or supporting ERP applications (Preferable Oracle ERP)
  • Demonstrated experience in one or more of these functional areas: finance, global supply chain, or service operations.
  • Demonstrated leadership and strong program management expertise in driving large scale ERP programs with at least 10+ years of specific Oracle ERP experience.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of business processes including manufacturing, service and finance.
  • Experience in Agile and applying Agile to ERP implementations
  • Experience managing budgets including annual budgets and large-scale projects
  • Excellent influencing, interpersonal and communications skills (both written and verbal) with all levels of an organization. Ability to synthesize and communicate complex technology topics to all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrated customer focus – evaluates decisions through the eyes of the customer, builds strong customer relationships, creates processes with customer viewpoint and partners with customers to help shape their future initiatives
  • Strong analytical and strong problem-solving skills -communicates in a clear and succinct manner and effectively evaluates information / data to make decisions, anticipates obstacles and develops plans to resolve, creates actionable strategies and operational plans
  • Dynamic leader & strong team player – collaborates well with others to solve problems and actively incorporates input from various stakeholders
  • Influences and energizes others toward the common vision and goal. Maintains excitement for a process and drives to new directions of meeting the goal in the face of unfavourable odds and setbacks
  • Demonstrated experience to positively lead global and geographically dispersed teams through significant change
  • Ability to manage multiple projects/priorities at one time
  • Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt.
