Job Description

Mission:-

To help customers accelerate their journey of Digitalization of Electrical Distribution System through differentiated offers of Digital Power. To populate and saturate Go To Market channels through enhanced offers from Digital Power

The role shall report to the Director- Digital Power (Sales, Marketing & BD leader) for India Operations

Key responsibilities include:-

  • Lead Offer marketing function for Digital Power Offer encompassing PQ Solutions, Energy Management Systems (EMS) and Energy Automation (MVP)
  • Drive Profitable growth for Digital Power Organization through close collaboration with National Sales Organization, Power Systems and Relevant Segments team
  • Groom and Coach offer managers handling respective offer lines for Offer marketing roles: Price positioning, Go to market, Promotion, Demand Generation, Pre-Sales support, Drive Prescription actions in the region
  • Product Management: Offer Roadmap, Product Life Cycle Management, New Launches, Offer gap analysis and Business case for new offers
  • Price Management: List Price, DeltaP and Special Price approvals, Product Mix management to deliver target margin for activity
  • Market communication: Marcom plan for new launches, High impact launch events, Establish Schneider Electric as Thought leader in the market, Drive Digital Marketing & e-Commerce initiatives
  • Work closely with Global Category Managers in the zones to support as per Marketing plan (AMSP, i25) and adoption of the transformation actions
  • Provide feedback to Line of Business Product Management and CoE Expert teams on developing new features, functionality, and processes to improve the offering
  • Track the pipeline of opportunities to support and ensures proper customer project process is followed.
  • Training & Competency enhancement of National Sales, Power System, V2 Sales team of DPMVP and DPSOL

Requirements:-

  • Education: Bachelor’s in Electrical/ Electronics & Communications engg
  • Proven Sales, Business development or Product Marketing experience of more than 12 years preferably with a strong knowledge of Panel Metering, Power Quality, Protection relays, Arc flash protection and cybersecurity
  • Proven knowledge of LV, MV Electrical Distribution system with a strong understanding of the customers’ business, trends, challenges & compliance
  • Strong business acumen and ability to develop an analytical understanding
  • Excellent listening & communication skills with the ability to influence others and to build strong business networks at different levels of the organisation
  • Good judgement, autonomously working style and good interpersonal skills
  • Proactive and open-minded personality with passion to work with Local & Global teams
  • Experience of sales management tools and processes are an asset
  • Fluent in English
