DGM/AGM – Coal / Mining

• Work with both President & VP – Strategy & Chairman’s office to set & refine strategic agenda for the BU
• Given the strategic agenda, ensure rigorous governance by conducting regular check-ins, supporting conduct of quarterly, half yearly and annual discussions with the promoters
• Identify topics / themes of relevance to aid transformation of the BU; help socialize the same with inputs from Promoters and senior leadership
• Help control capital allocations: Review proposed spend elements from various BUs and help assess/ refine the same
• Internally contributed to team building activities within Chairman’s office and strengthen systems, processes & collaboration
• Build relationships with key BU stakeholders in order to translate chairman’s vision & strategic agenda into a bought-in set of actions

Qualification:-

• CA/CFA OR
• MBA from a Tier 1 institution preferred

Experiences:-

• 10+ years, with a focus on natural resources/ mining
• Experience at:
  • Large Industrial companies (e.g. Birla, Vedanta, Tata)
  • Industrial Goods/ equivalent teams of top strategy consulting firms (McK, BCG, Bain – BCC, ATK etc.) or
  • Industrial goods/ equivalent teams of Big 4 (Deloitte – USI, EY, KPMG – KGS or India, PwC etc.
