Data Engineer – Ingestion and Replication

As a Data Engineer, you will be part of a data engineering or cross-disciplinary team on commercially facing development projects. You will be responsible for Designing and Developing complete data engineering solutions. You will be involved in handling large, complex data set to understand the business requirements and deliver solutions.

Responsibilities:-

• Building and support reusable frameworks to ingest, integrate and provision data
• Performing automation of end to end data pipeline with metadata, data quality checks, and audit
• Performing a variety of data loads & data transformations.
• Working knowledge of methods for parsing, formatting, & transforming data into units consistent with analytical needs.
• Performing integration of multiple data source-formats into master data load.
• Having proficieny in the use of at least one ETL tool (Talend is preferred)
• Having experience in the use of at least one Data Replication tool (HVR is preferred)

Qualifications And Experiences:-

• Be a graduate in Computer Science/Software Engineering/Mathematics, or related field with a minimum of 5 years of experience in information technology
• Have 4+ years’ experience in data warehouse/data lake technical architecture
• Experience in an admin role (Windows, Linux/Unix or DBA)
• Experience with Data replication tool (HVR Software)
• Experience with Data Ingestion tools (Talend, Informatica etc.,)
• Experience with scripting languages like Java Script, Python etc
• Experience and an understanding of all aspects of an IT Infrastructure
• Having AWS experience will be a plus
• Have ability to troubleshoot and maintain all technical infrastructure
