Fluence Recruitments Control Software Development Manager Job in Bangalore, India

Responsibilities:-

Build and lead a control SW development team in India. This team is part of Fluence’s global control applications SW development group, which designs and develops control SW for our energy storage system products.
Support resource allocation to staff development teams.
Provide technical leadership in refining best practices and workflow for the development process.
Mentor team members and supervise work processes to ensure development of high-quality deliverables to meet timeline and budget commitments.
Coach and develop people. Foster a spirit of teamwork and empower people to take responsibility for their jobs and goals.
Develop KPI-centered goals and objectives for Software Development that support the broader business objectives. Report on KPI performance monthly and drive team performance to meet the established objectives.
Develop new tools, implement processes, provide feedback, and work with other stakeholders to ensure continuous improvement of the technology/engineering/ delivery value stream.

Qualification And Experience:-

Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
3+ years of leadership and direct supervisory experience in control software development.
8+ years of professional work experience in SW design, development and testing.
Expertise in model-based control SW development using Matlab/Simulink and auto-code generation toolchain.
Expertise using Agile methodology in SW development.
Expertise in Git workflow.
Extensive experience in CI/CD process.
Experience with Linux.
Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and suggestions clearly and effectively to internal and external audience.
Travel: up to 10%, including international travel.

Preferred Skills:-

Experience with power grid, power generation and/or renewable integration control.
Experience with utility market applications.
