Commissioning Manager – 400 kV Substations

Responsibilities:

• Lead commissioning of GIS/AIS bays, SCADA, relay panels, metering & FOTE systems
• Supervise third-party test agencies and interface with OEMs and state utilities
• Ensure compliance with CEA, CBIP, IE rules, and power utility specifications
• Coordinate grid synchronisation, approvals, and documentation

Qualification and Experience:-

• B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering
• 12+ years’ experience in HV/EHV substation commissioning (minimum three 400 kV projects)
• Expertise in SCADA, protection relays (Siemens, ABB, GE), and grid compliance
• Strong leadership, coordination, and documentation skills
• Willing to work in remote project locations

• Solar evacuation experience
• Exposure to GIS/hybrid switchgear systems
• Familiar with SIPROTEC, REL Series, MiCOM relays
