Key Responsibilities:-
Commissioning:-
- Experience in Power Plant Controller and Battery Energy Storage System Implementation at Solar Project.
- Installation and configuration of Power Plant Controller system, PLC, Power Plant and BESS system as per Project requirements.
- Knowledge of performing the test related to PPC & BESS as Grid compliance/Code for plant operation.
- Knowledge about solar plant components like PV Module, Inverter, PCS BMS etc.
- Knowledge about the Control logic Design & Implementation for PPC & BESS operation.
- Integration knowledge of field Devices with Power Plant Controller and BESS.
- Plan and execute pre-commissioning tests, including functionality tests of PPC & BESS.
- Development & deployment of Solar Scada systems and the programming of PLC's.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during the commissioning phase, ensuring compliance with design specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Lead commissioning activities on-site for Power Plant Controller and Battery Energy Storage System, EMS/ESS with SCADA & PLC systems, including system energization, performance testing, and grid synchronization.
- Good knowledge and experience in all IEC standard and substations Protocols like IEC61850, IEC101/104, Modbus TCP, Modbus RTU, RS485/RS232, OPC UA/DA etc.
- Ensure installation complies with design specifications, safety standards, and local regulations.
- Strong knowledge about Active Power, Reactive Power Close Loop Control System.
- Oversee testing of the overall integrated system (both individually and as a combined PV+BESS unit), including insulation resistance testing, grounding tests, and performance validation.
- Conduct functionality tests on monitoring systems, data acquisition systems (SCADA), and control systems.
- Monitor and optimize system performance to ensure it meets design parameters, efficiency targets, and safety requirements.
- Develop and manage commissioning reports, documenting test results and system performance metrics.
- Identify and troubleshoot any post-commissioning issues or inefficiencies.
- Knowledge of Designing the Signal List, Functional Design Specification etc.
- Prepare, review, and update technical specifications, bill of materials (BOM), and engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of PR Test, Grid Compliance as per Solar Project.
- Develop detailed engineering designs for PV+BESS systems, including electrical layouts, schematics, and system architecture.
Qualification:-
- Post Graduate Diploma (PGD)
- Bachelor of Technology (BTech)
