AESL Commissions 2500 MW Green Evacuation System in Tamil Nadu
Responsibilities:-
- Supervision of O&M activities conducted by O&M vendor at various pump locations
- Coordination of all activities with district level DISCOM (JE)/ MSEDCL officials in Maharashtra
- Coordinate with O&M subcontractor to ensure that the pumps are fully functional and have minimum down time.
- Conduct surprise visits to the selected pumps to check efficacy of O&M activities carried out by the subcontractor
- Release periodic reports and returns to MSEDCL.
- Maintenance of spare parts such as controller, pumps panels, etc, Replenishment of spare parts and major assembly on their usage. Maintenance of inventory.
- Coordinate with Techno commercial and logistics departments for movement of stores required at the sites.
- Ensure that MSPVL does not incur any penalty on any account during tenancy of contract.
- Expedite with the OEMs and the subcontractors for immediate resolution of any fault at the site affecting unserviceability of pump system or its sub-component.
Special Skills:-
- Able to take quick decisions and maintain communications at all levels so as to ensure the upkeep of the solar pumps all the time
- Network with various nodal agencies, such as local DISCOM, MSEDCL officials at district and state level, other O&M sub contractors operating in Maharashtra, etc, and maintaining cordial relationship to ensure MSPVL interests are always looked after.
Qualifications and Experience:-
- Total Experience: At least 10 years of experience in O&M and out of which minimum five years in solar pump systems
- Essential Qualification: Electrical Engineering graduate / ECE Engineering graduate and MBA is desirable
