Civil-Engineer - Contract

• Infrastructure design, including but not limited to, analyzing GeotechnicalInvestigations for pavement design, horizontal and vertical curve design, roadside design criteria, surface grading, and stormwater management requirements.
• Experience and understanding of stormwater management, above ground and underground utility networks, sanitary sewerage design, water network design, and other miscellaneous utility design requirements.
• Develop a rough grading concept based off of topographic survey data to incorporate in to design drawings.
• Review Geotechnical Investigation Reports and implement the design suggestions into the project design.
• Knowledge of Environmental requirements to manage Erosion Control, protect endangered species, prevent discharge of contaminated materials, etc.
• To be able to work with other disciplines to coordinate and manage project challenges in order to develop a superior design package.
• Communicate with Client and Client Representatives in a professional manner.
• A committed team player able to work on own initiative.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good Communication skills (verbal & written) and ability to self-check and produce accurate work.

Qualifications And Experience:-

• Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 5 to 7 years of Civil Engineering design experience including, but not limited to, Infrastructure Design, Pavement Design, Utility Design, Stormwater Management, Excavation and Grading, Environmental Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, and Construction Management
• Capable of developing Engineered Construction Drawing requirements to assist in developing projects within AutoCAD, MicroStation, or any other design software
• Working knowledge of Local and International codes and standards used in CIVIL Engineering designs.
• Basic knowledge working with computer software such as Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, and other Engineering software tools.
