Job Description

  • Engineering Graduate from any reputed University.
  • Must have experience on UG/OPGW, Colo/Site infra build & maintenance.
  • Well versed with service delivery life cycle knowledge of various telecom technologies SDH/DWDM/OTN.
  • Well conversant with OPGW / UG Dark fiber / Last mile/Colo infra build and operations.
  • Travel as and when required.

Responsibilities:-

  • To assess customer needs, plan and deliver communications Infrastructure and solution requirements like Fiber, Duct, Collocation of equipment’s, Towers, Racks, customised Products, and services.
  • Create comprehensive Service Delivery Plan and documentation to enable the project to be managed against a clear set of defined deliverables and milestones.
  • Develops, tracks, and maintains OPGW network availability including the Colo infrastructure, Last mile and quality metrics for entire routes of Sterlite Power and its JV partners.
  • Responsible for delivering all aspects of the O&M & Continuously reviews and ensure O&M procedures are updated.
  • Take responsibility for customer escalations and act as a point of escalation both in and out of hours as required.
  • Follow up and clearance of PTW for OPGW network.
  • Publish weekly/Monthly reports.
  • Engage with govt / private agencies for necessary approvals and work clearance.
  • Drive internal and external stakeholders for smooth operation.
