Job Description

Taking full responsibility/accountability for sales & customer support to existing booked orders and acquire new orders, work in line with the bidding team

Position Summary:-

  • Analyze the Market position. Also, have In-depth knowledge of transmission projects & lines in the territory. Able to lead the benchmarking of Power Cable, market share and competitor analysis.
  • Participate in Techno-Commercial interactions with EPC Contractors / Transmission utilities (focusing on identified top 10 utilities n EPCs). Proactive engagement @ pre-RFQ stage.
  • Maintains relations with utilities, EPCs, agents & traders to improve the brand positioning of Sterlite. Have good hands-on Analytics and ensure upto date
  • Ensuring all technical specifications are received, clarified, and agreed upon with a customer at the order stage.
  • CRM and Sales force knowledge and using it extensively for the business right reporting and building capability
  • Collaborate with Finance/ Logistics for managing shipment and import documentation on time and it helps in ensuring timely deliveries in DDP shipments.
  • Effective engagement with the customers, handle feedback information to customers on quality improvements on products and changes, as and when necessary.
  • Focus on becoming the market leaders, and expanding new products base of cables globally

Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities:-

  • Making Annual Business Plan and Cash profit and Gross Margin
  • Responsible for complete Sales, Marketing, Tendering & Business Development & Project Management for Under Ground Cables
  • Complete Sales & Marketing Responsibility of MV and EHV with Contracting Partners, Vendors & Agents etc.
  • Creating and offering Unique Solutions in a Globally Competitive Environment.
  • Prepare ROI, Feasibility reports and consultation /Technical Presentation to Customers, Cost Benefit Analysis
  • Drive Strategic directions using Market Intel to drive Blue Ocean initiatives.
  • Pre RFQ-collection of data and development of market intelligence base
  • Improve Market Presence and Brand Visibility – India Mkt, Seminars, Forum participations.
  • Project Management in coordination with the Internal MSI Team & External Turnkey Contractors.
  • Customer Feedback, Operational Productivity with Cohesive Discussion with Contracting Partners & Alliances.
  • Registration of Complaints through CRM & Timely Deployment of Manpower for Services & Repair.
  • Liquidation of Liabilities, Forecast & Timely Execution of Orders with all Customers thereby adhering to strict Ethical Practices & Compliances
