Job Description

Join us as our Channel Manager (Integrator Business) based in Mumbai to advance and learn alongside accomplished business leaders to help customers around the world to optimize their processes and enable growth.

Key Responsibilities:-

  • Market analysis/ industry analysis pertaining to the Integrators in the region.
  • Forecasting, sales planning.
  • Build, nurture and maintain strong business relationship with Integrators.
  • Promote AL product and services, promote new technologies and solution. Organize and conduct product promotion events, webinars and other market promotional activities with the Integrators.
  • Work with consultants and end users (related with Integrator Business) to create strong favourable pull for AL products and act on project leads.
  • Quotation and other technical support required by Integrators.
  • Techno-commercial support to the Integrators during proposals stage.
  • Support channels to tackle and fight competition.
  • Closing the orders, ensure techno-commercially clear purchase order from channels.
  • Work as a communication link with channels to coordinate internally to achieve smooth execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Support Integrators on claims and resolution by coordinating internally.
  • Make channels self-sufficient by continuous trainings on sales & service.
  • Responsible for achieving monthly/quarterly/yearly order intake targets.
  • Responsible for Business Unit Hygienic Fluid Handling complete range of products and also hygienic heat exchangers in the given industry and work with CRM and other sales tools.
  • Closely coordinate status and movement of same ‘projects’ with multiple channels & integrators, may need to coordination with other AL Channel managers in different region so that AL is on winning side.
  • Driving partnership agreements with channels.

Who you are:-

As a Channel Manager (Integrator Business) based in Mumbai in our India Sales team you would be responsible to develop sales of ‘Hygienic Fluid Handling Products’ to the “Integrators” (contractors, system builders, OEM’s, solution providers) working in the pharmaceutical, beverage, personal care, food and Dairy industry. The ownership of Integrator Accounts in the region from Alfa Laval side will lies with you. You will enhance share of Alfa Laval products with the Integrators. You will develop integrators as being the long-term partners of AL (Authorised Integrators or Key Accounts) secured by Business Agreements. Your are value driven person with high level of integrity. Your strong and courageous mindset is a key.

What you can be:-

  • 4-5 years of overall functional experience in Sales, Sales support, Proposals for capital goods.
  • Industry experience: from process engineering, manufacturing, equipment supply, pharma and pharma equipment.
  • Directly/indirectly working with Food/Pharma/Sugar/Starch/Distillery/Food processing Customers in previous organization.
  • Strong communication skills (both written and oral).
  • Strong collaboration skills, and the ability to work effectively with a diverse terrain.
  • Must be able to converse in local language.
