Prepares detailed isometrics, layouts, general arrangements, P&ID and related CAD data for assignments related to oil and gas plants as part of integrity engineering under little supervision.

Responsibilities:-

Essential:-

Prepare Process Flow Diagrams and P&IDs.
Create as-built and isometric drawings for piping and structural components.
Proficient in drafting symbols used in PFDs, P&IDs, SLDs, BLDs & layout drawings.
Understand Equipment Tags, Piping Tags, Valves used in plant drawings.
Understand and modify primary, secondary & tertiary structural drawings with BOM and BOQ.
Work with inspection data and create inspection reports.
Prepares 3D CAD data and detailed design/manufacturing/weldment/assembly/general arrangement drawings, hydraulic/electrical schematics.
Proficient in CAD software tools used in plant engineering namely AutoCAD, Navisworks, Plant 3D, BIM, Tekla etc.
Execute the assigned tasks/project scope within required KPI’s.
Able to plan his own work and provide the time estimation for the assigned tasks/project scope.

Non-Essential:-

Understand & interpret plant equipment General Arrangement drawings.
Creation of structural repair and refurbishment drawings.
Undertake any other duties of a reasonable nature as required by Management.
Demonstrate high level of initiative to accomplish individual objectives assigned as well as team goals aligned with department and organizational objective.
Comply to organizational HR policies and procedures.
Should be open to travel as per business needs.

Qualifications:-

Required:-

B. Tech / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 2 years experience or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 4 years of Design / Drafting experience.

Desired:-

Familiarity with Mechanical industry codes/standards (e.g. ASME, ASTM, AISC etc.).
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
