The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving lead generation, client engagement, and sales conversion for rooftop solar solutions in the C&I segment. Once a project is closed, it will be handed over to the execution team led by the Project Manager. The role requires strong technical understanding, commercial acumen, and deep familiarity with local markets and decision-makers.

Key Responsibilities:-

  • Identify and generate high-potential leads across industrial clusters in Tier-2 towns of Haryana
  • Conduct site visits and client meetings to understand energy requirements and pitch appropriate solar solutions
  • Prepare and present techno-commercial proposals, ROI models, and savings reports
  • Convert leads into confirmed orders and ensure smooth handover to the project execution team
  • Build strong relationships with factory owners, builders, consultants, and local influencers
  • Maintain an active sales pipeline and update CRM tools regularly
  • Stay updated with net metering regulations, subsidy schemes, and government policies
  • Coordinate with internal design and finance teams for timely and accurate proposals

Qualifications & Experience:-

  • Graduate in Science, Engineering, Energy, or Business-related field
  • 4–8 years of experience in B2B solution sales, preferably in solar or power infrastructure
  • Prior experience in selling rooftop solar systems to C&I clients is essential
  • Strong understanding of solar economics (payback, IRR, net metering, etc.)
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Familiarity with local markets in Haryana is highly desirable

Location Preference

  • Only candidates who are permanent residents of Haryana or Delhi NCR will be considered
  • Must be comfortable working and travelling across Tier-2 zones of Haryana and neighboring states
