Business Analyst – Oracle SCM

The primary responsibility will be facilitating Project lifecycle in Development & Testing Environments of Oracle EBS implementation in Emerson Automation Solutions (Auto sol). The responsibilities cover validating Functional Changes proposed by Business Users, Implementing the approved changes in Controlled Environments and facilitating testing of the changes in CRP, SIT & FAT. Participation in other functional testing requirements related to Autosol PMO project implementations, patch migrations and support break/fix migrations. The secondary responsibility will be to resolve tickets from Project/Development teams in non-Production environments. This position requires expert knowledge of the Oracle Supply Chain and Distribution functional modules, skills in Problem Investigation, Problem Resolution, Application Testing and Communication.

Requirements:-

• Support experience and detailed understanding of the following Oracle Applications modules in Release R12: Order Management (ATO, PTO flows, etc.), Distribution, Purchasing, Inventory, Shipping, Manufacturing, Configurator.
• 6-10 years experience with Oracle EBS with at least 5+ years in a Global Oracle Apps ERP Environment including issue analysis, Setups and system implementation.
• Experience with gathering user requirements and understanding and interpreting requirements.
• Ability to co-ordinate with Testing Team and Business Users in CRP/SIT/FAT activities.
• Ability to Identify and Test Oracle Application patches prior to Production Implementation.
• Ability to create functional and regression test cases for relevant changes from user requirements.
• Ability to analyse and troubleshoot issues and identify the root cause.
• Ability to prepare a mitigation plan for repetitive issues and avoid them.
• Self-Motivated / Team player with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Experience with full Systems Development Life Cycle & Oracle EBS Implementations.
• Ability to analyse, understand and effectively communicate functional changes to end-users.
• Must be flexible, adaptable, and have the ability to work in a fast-paced changing environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills & Ability to work in a demanding user environment.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, Solid analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Work with Oracle Technical Support on SR resolution & Project Teams for issue resolution.
• Willingness to work on rotational shifts.
