Business Analyst

Responsibilities:-

• Elicit, document, validate, and manage business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
• Create clear as-is and to-be process models using BPMN or swimlane diagrams; develop supporting artifacts such as business process flows, data dictionaries, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
• Facilitate structured workshops and stakeholder interviews; balance conflicting priorities with transparent communication.
• Manage user stories, backlog, and sprint tracking in JIRA; maintain collaboration records in Teams, SharePoint, and OneNote.
• Produce process maps and data flow visualizations using Visio or Lucid Chart; use Power BI or Excel for validation and business reporting.
• Bridge business context with GIS/system requirements and collaborate effectively with developers and architects.

Qualifications

Qualifications and Experience:-

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of Business Analysis experience, preferably in utility or technology consulting.
• Strong communication skills with clarity and structure; ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
• Demonstrated stakeholder management and facilitation capabilities across diverse work cultures.
• Technical and integration acumen—understanding system architectures, APIs, and data exchange mechanisms sufficient to partner with technical teams.

Good to have Skills:-

• Experience with agile delivery and continuous improvement practices.
• Continuous learning mindset: staying current with GIS trends, enterprise systems, and BA techniques.
• Attention to detail and quality: ensuring documentation is unambiguous, testable, and aligned to business goals.
