Job Description

  • Creating 3D BIM models in Tekla Steel for offshore wind WTG Foundation structures, such as monopiles, jackets, transition pieces, boat landings, internal platforms, work platforms, and other structures.
  • In charge of creating top-notch 3D models from which to extract 2D drawings.
  • Contributing to the creation of intricate connection drawings, MTOs
  • In charge of conducting a quality check by analyzing the structural design and deliverables.
  • Creating BIM models and visualizations in 4D and 5D.
  • Involved in Clash detection and coordination of 3D models prepared in various software (Tekla, Inventor, and Revit) with Navisworks/BIM Track and other coordination software.

Qualification And Experience:-

  • A bachelor’s in civil or mechanical engineering (BE/B-tech) with 8-12 years of experience
  • Experience in 3D modeling of steel structures and connection detailing in Tekla.
  • Desire to participate in multidisciplinary projects for steel offshore wind structures.
  • Knowledge of BIM as well as the process for working on BIM projects, and a fundamental understanding of Euro Codes
  • Knowledge of Tekla macro and custom component development
  • Ability to utilize all Microsoft Office programs proficiently, especially MS Word and Excel;

Some good to have skills:-

  • Revit and Bentley Micro Station experience
  • Programming language knowledge like C#, Python, C++, Grasshopper
