Asst Track Design Engineer/ Track Design Engineer

Responsibilities:-

• Carry out track designs and provision of technical support throughout to support all stages of design
• Independently deliver / manage the production of design deliverables in accordance with client requirements

• Review the work of less experience engineers and CAD technicians in the team and maintaining quality of deliverables,
• Overseeing and trouble shooting the work of geometric design of P-way/Rail tracks, guide the less experienced engineers in carrying out the design and preparation of the drawings.
• Keep up to date with industry best practice and where appropriate apply best practice within the team environment.
• Proposes approach to solve new problems encountered.
• Provides guidance to entry level engineers.
• Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule with little supervision.

Qualification And Experience:-

• BE/B. Tech degree in Civil Engineering from an institute of repute. ME/ M. Tech would be desirable
• Should have 4-8 years of experience in P-way design. Knowledge of Indian rail design codes and other international standards would be desirable.
• knowledge of understanding of the analysis and design principles of Track & P-way Design, Regression Analysis of existing Railway Lines, design of Depot/ Yard Design
• Have hands on experience in using Bentlay PowerRail
• Have hands on experience in using Open Rail/ RailTrack/ PowerRail Design software,
• Should have knowledge of tools like AutoCAD/ MicroStation and preparing drawings in accordance with internationally recognized standard formats,
• Understanding of multi-discipline railway design interfaces
• Have technical / functional acumen, he should have good communication skills and should be able to present their work.
• Should be a good team member, self-motivated and should coordinate with other team members and the project manager for timely delivery of project
• Good communication skills (English language skills in written and verbal) and the ability to work within a small team whilst having a dedicated approach to working within and meeting strict project deadlines
