Associate Vice President - Operation & Maintenance

Site Management and Coordination:-

• Oversee the execution of solar energy ensuring alignment with timelines, quality standards, and operational efficiency.
• Monitor progress at various sites, manage resource allocation, and adapt plans as needed to ensure seamless execution.
• Ensure effective HOTO resolving any technical or operational challenges.

Regulatory Compliance:-

Ensure adherence to all relevant solar plant regulations, including environmental laws, grid codes, safety standards, and land use policies.

Conduct regular site audits, prepare compliance documentation, and address any non-conformities promptly.

Stay updated on regulatory changes and implement necessary compliance measures across all sites.

Stakeholder Communication and Reporting:

• Serve as the primary liaison between site teams and internal/external stakeholders, including senior management, investors, and regulatory bodies.
• Provide regular, transparent updates on O&M activities progress, challenges.
• Prepare and present detailed progress and performance reports, host stakeholder meetings, and manage expectations proactively.

Cost Management and Financial Oversight:-

• Supoort site team to prepare budget , ensuring efficient allocation of resources and adherence to financial targets.
• Monitor site expenditures, identify areas for cost optimization, and implement strategies to control expenses.
• Analyze financial performance against forecasts, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Support local procurement strategies to ensure cost-effective sourcing of materials and services.

Risk Management and Issue Resolution:-

• Identify and assess risks associated with solar energy projects, including technical, financial, and regulatory challenges.
• Develop and implement mitigation strategies to minimize potential impacts on project timelines or performance.
• Maintain and update a risk register, conduct risk assessment workshops, and ensure contingency plans are in place.
• Resolve operational and logistical issues promptly to maintain project momentum.

Key Stakeholders - Internal:-

• HODs
• Central cluster head, Cluster Head, Site Head, HO & Site O&M team
• Supporting functions - Techo-commecrial, Safety, HR, Secuirty, Regulatorsy, BD, Legal, TA, Project, Engineering, MAAS, HSE, ESG, Finance, BEx, Land, Insurance, etc.

• Regulatory Authorities (e.g., CEIG, SLDC, NRLDC)

Education Qualifications:-

• BE/B.tech/Diploma - Electrical or Electronics + MBA preferable

Work Experience:

• 8+ years of hands on experience.
