Job Description

As a Cloud Native Architect, you will help design solutions for divisions going through a technological as well as organisational transformation. Working in a small, you’ll guide our development groups through creating and automating their cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities:-

Guide our development groups through creating and automating their cloud infrastructure. We are a multi-cloud company, meaning that you will get to apply a diverse mix of tools and services. You will implement best practice and help each of the teams build upon the solutions that you have developed with other groups. As we are globally distributed, you will be required to travel as part of the job on occasion.

Educational Qualifications:-

  • Tech or M.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering from a reputed institute, with consistent high academic track record throughout.
  • Relevant work experience from top product development MNC companies.

Skills Required:-

You should be well versed and have good practical experience in the following topics:-

  • Best practices and patterns in software development.
  • Best practices and patterns in cloud native transformation and migration.
  • Micro-service architectures.
  • Service Meshes.
  • Monetisation of SaaS platforms.
  • Cloud Native tools and their applicability across different Cloud providers.
  • Private and Public Clouds.
  • Global Cloud Optimisation.

You should have a good understanding of the following topics:-

  • Containerisation across different platforms, operating systems and CPU types.
  • Kubernetes and Kubernetes Operators.
  • Observability and how it is used to manage MTTR.
  • Hybrid and Multi-Cloud environments.

It would be good if you had some exposure to the following topics:-

  • CI/CD both the principles and the experience of setting up a pipeline.
  • Feature flags, Blue/Green, Canary and Ring release strategies and tools.
  • Site Reliability Engineering.
  • Cloud provider offerings.
