Job Description

You will be working as Associate Power System Engineer, reporting to Business Manager – E2E for Electrification business area, Distribution Solutions division based in Nashik, India. You will be responsible for performing power system analyses and studies to support the design, operation, and maintenance of electrical power systems.

Responsibilities:-

  • Conducting power system studies to analyze system performance, identify issues, and recommend solutions
  • Performing power system studies like load flow, short-circuit, protective device coordination, and arc flash analyses
  • Developing protection and coordination schemes for electrical equipment in high-, medium and low voltage networks
  • Coordinating activities with other team members of the global power studies and consulting team
  • Preparing accurate, well-organized technical reports and presentations summarizing study findings and recommendations
  • Taking ownership of deliverables to meet client expectations as per the agreed project schedule

Qualification And Experience:-

  • Master’s or bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Power engineering
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in power system analysis and studies
  • Proficient in simulation and modeling software such as ETAP, Power Factory, or PSCAD
  • Affinity towards programming (Excel VBA, SQL, Python, Power BI) and automating the daily work routines
  • Should have good communication and presentation skills
