- Report to the Global E&D Leader while managing stakeholders like local product development team leaders, local EICP management and global business leaders
- Develop strategies towards talent development and aligning the vision of product groups
- Establish synergy and drive collaboration between different business units to deliver increased value to organization
- Identify and implement plans for technical competency development at EICP
- Establish common work processes and tracking mechanisms across business units for projects/ programs performance metrics/dashboards
- Set the goals and mentor local business leaders to build capabilities, benchmark industry best practices and technologies for speeding up product development
- Periodic talent review to develop succession planning and future leaders
- Nurture innovative and quality development culture within organization
- Maintain healthy retention percentage within group
- Develop business continuity plan to ensure seamless operations
REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:-
- B.E./ B.Tech./ M.E./ M.Tech in Electronics/ Mechanical engineering
- 8 to 10 years in Leadership role
- Ability to flex working hours to accommodate global time differences
PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:-
- Experience leading and executing engineering project teams that developed new products
- Experience in relevant technologies and functions
- Knowledge and use of New Product Development staged gate Agile processes
- Experience working with international teams
- Excellent presentation and persuasion skills
